Posted by: Willie on 2/14/10 7:59 PM

I have all four Ensco chalk statues that was given to me as gifts in the 1980's I am trying to find the value of them. Is there a web site with prices for collectables, there are alot for records I've done some research but can't find any info. Thanks.

Willie:

We sold a set of these in April 2008 for $478. They had minor chipping and a hairline crack to the base of the Paul McCartney statuette, otherwise they were in great shape. How do yours look?

Hi Gary,
Mine are in perfect condition, like the day I got them I've had them on display since then over 20yrs. I dust them off from time to time. Thanks.

According to eBay, a full set of four ENESCO figurines from 1993 (mint in box) goes for $600. Does anyone know what they cost originally? It doesn't seem that they've appreciated in value substantially.

I saw two sets listed a few weeks ago on ebay, they were going for roughly $1800.00 in good condition.

Unless you're talking about different figurines no sets have sold within the past month on eBay, but all four have been available individually:

The latter three can be had this week for a "buy it now" price of $149 each.

Hello,
If you check on ebay right now you will see a complete set -all four ENSCO statues for sale buy it now $1849.00 I just checked the listing.

[Posted by namralos on 2/27/10 8:28 AM]

Why would you buy those for $1849 when there are copies for $150 each? A "buy it now" price is not a SALE. As I said, the set usually goes for $600.

I wouldn't pay this much for the these statues, but they are getting these prices there was another set going for $1900.00 I don't know if they sold.
