Subject: beatles albums on parlaphone record label

Finally!!! Someone I hope can tell just what I've got & what, if anything it's worth:

Please Please me * The Beatles PCS 3042 Parlaphone/EMI label in black and silver. Stereo

With The Beatles PCS3045 Parlaphone/EMI label in black and silver. In stereo, with black & white front cover

I bought these back in the mid-seventies when I was a teenager. I'm 50 now.... Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

If the print around the rim of the label lists the company as "The Gramophone Company," your copy was made before 1976. Those are worth a bit more than later copies. If the print shows the company as EMI, it was made between 1976 and 1980. If the print starts with "All rights...," it was made from 1980 on. I assume this isn't the case with yours.

Most of these will sell for about $20 each in nice shape.
